Manage spam filtering and blocked senders Print

Spam controls can reduce unwanted mail, but overly broad filters can hide legitimate messages.

Steps

  1. Find SpamAssassin Setup, Spam Filters, or the spam-control tool available in Domatic Control Panel.
  2. Review the current action for suspected spam; routing it to a reviewable folder is easier to troubleshoot than immediate deletion.
  3. Add specific sender or domain rules only when needed and save.
  4. Check the Spam folder regularly and test important senders after making changes.

Good to know

A display name can be forged, and blocking a common word may catch genuine messages. If the named tool is unavailable, Support can identify the filtering service on your plan. Do not disable all protection to resolve one incorrectly filtered message.
