An SQL export is useful before changing application data or moving a website.
Steps
- Open phpMyAdmin from Domatic Control Panel and select the correct database.
- Choose Export and SQL format. Check that the intended tables and both structure and data are included.
- Download the export to a secure location.
- Confirm the file is nonempty and retain the matching website files for a complete application backup.
Good to know
Large databases may exceed browser or PHP limits. Ask Support for an appropriate export method if the download fails or appears incomplete. Treat an SQL file as sensitive because it can contain private data and application credentials.
