Database-driven applications need a database and an authorized database user. Use the full names generated by the Control Panel.
Steps
- Open Databases or MySQL Management in Domatic Control Panel.
- Create a database and a dedicated user with a strong password.
- Record the complete database name, username, and database host displayed for the account.
- Enter those values into the application installer or configuration and test the connection.
Good to know
The panel may prefix names with the hosting username. Do not omit that prefix. Keep database passwords out of tickets and public files. Ask Support if your plan does not show database creation or if you have reached its database limit.
