Enable free SSL from the Client Portal Print

On supported hosting services, the refreshed Client Portal can request a free certificate without asking you to enter server credentials.

Steps

  1. Open the hosting service and find SSL Encryption.
  2. If it reports an expired or invalid certificate and offers Enable Free SSL, click the button.
  3. Review the explanation and confirm Enable SSL. Leave time for domain validation; the page shows progress while the request is processed.
  4. Look for SSL Active, the expiry date, and the automatic-renewal confirmation. If the button is unavailable, use Domatic Control Panel or contact Support.

Good to know

Repeated clicks will not speed up issuance. DNS or certificate-provider limits can delay a request. An Active result confirms the hosting certificate; a separate proxy or CDN may serve its own certificate.
